Ironman Gravity 4000 Inversion Table Review: One of the better inversion tables.
Ironman Gravity 4000 Table: Definite back saver!!
I bought this inversion table after my doctor recommended I get one to help with the lower back injuries I got from playing hockey. I haven’t used a similar contraption before, so it took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but it’s worth the effort in the end! I felt a bit silly at first, but luckily no one’s around to see me hanging upside down.
Living in a small apartment in New York, the fold-up storage feature is key. I leave it out as long as no guests are coming over, because I use it in the mornings and don’t want to pull it out every day, but in the future there’s a good chance I’ll be stowing this thing away. As other people noted, make sure you have the ceiling space for it if you’re living in a small space.
Let’s take a look at the features of the Ironman 4000.
- Sturdy inversion table for reducing back stress and stimulating circulation
- Tubular steel frame, memory-foam nylon backrest, and powder-coated finish
- Tough rubber non-skid floor stabilizers; inverts up to 90 degrees
- Ergonomically molded ankle cushions; supports up to 350 pounds
- Folds for storage; measures 26 x 65 x 49 inches (W x H x D); weighs 75 pounds
This model was a bit expensive and a bit of an investment, but if I’m going to be suspended upside down in this thing, it had better be rugged! My back’s pretty important to me, so as long as this device lasts a few years, I’m happy. I have a few other Ironman items, like their body composition scale, and have found their stuff to be very high-quality in the past.
Oh one other thing–it may not be a bad idea to leave this out for company after all! It kind of looks like a medieval torture device, and most people are intrigued and want to try testing it out for themselves. It makes for great dinner party conversation.
